Emergences
Lauréates de l’appel à projet d’Est Ensemble et Made in Town encourageant l’émergence d’une filière éco-responsable textile, Lily & Léa ont axé leur recherche autour du recyclage de chutes de production en partenariat avec la Société Choletaise de Fabrication (rubans, tresses et lacets sur-mesure). Après avoir identifié les chutes de l’entreprise SCF, elles ont mené un travail expérimental de tissage dans leur atelier en croisant les matières et les couleurs. Elles ont présenté à la Biennale Émergences de Pantin le résultat de ces recherches tissées à la main sous forme d’échantillons et de prototypes.
Laureates of the Est Ensemble and Made in Town call for projects encouraging the emergence of an eco-responsible textile industry, Lily & Léa focused their research on recycling production offcuts in partnership with Société Choletaise de Fabrication (custom-made ribbons, braids and laces). After identifying SCF’s offcuts, they carried out experimental weaving in their workshop, crossing materials and colors. They presented the results of this hand-woven research, samples and prototypes, at the Émergences Biennial in Pantin.
